Mix the ground veal with grated and well-drained onion, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Knead the mixture thoroughly until well combined. Lightly oil your hands and shape the mixture into small meatballs. Cook the buckwheat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 35–40 minutes. Fry the meatballs in hot oil for 5–6 minutes until browned. Then, add the bell pepper and cook for another 11–12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Finally, add the garlic and sauce, cook for an additional 5–6 minutes, and remove from heat. Before serving, you can garnish with fresh dill or chopped green onions.
