The commercial film, broadcast by OBA Market, one of the most important market chains in Azerbaijan, before the Eid al-Adha, makes the audience emotional.
The commercial film, focusing on the neighborhood, which is one of the values on the edge of disappearing, is about the surprise of a neighboring woman who has sensitivities about her elderly neighbor.
"The old man gets out of bed early in the morning and sees the children playing outside; he realizes that this day is different from others. Then he dresses and goes to the store. While waiting in line at the cash register with the cake he bought at the store, the old man is watched by his neighbor. Then he goes outside and sits in the park for a while. On his way home, he again enters his house without realizing he is on his next-door neighbor's radar.
A phone call comes in while he is trying to light the candle he placed on his cake in the evening. His neighbor calls him to their home right away. The elderly man drops everything and rushes to assist his neighbor, thinking that she is in trouble. When he gets home, he goes through the rooms one by one, but he doesn't see anyone. When he finally makes it into the hall, he is greeted by a large family and a birthday cake." At the end of the commercial film, it is made clear that the neighborhood is equated with family.
"We observe that our neighborly relations are weakening in the order dictated by today's economic and social conditions," OBA Market officials said in regard to this emotional commercial film." Since we entered people's lives with the concept of neighborhood, we wanted to emphasize the importance of these basic principles that make us who we are as OBA retail chain," they said, emphasizing the importance they attach to keeping the values alive.
